The BT Series chairs are the workhorses of our product line – durable, tough, and reasonably priced. Each chair within the BT series features a different base to meet varied environmental and budget demands. Select options like seats, backrests, armrests, casters and glides. Use the Upholstery Selector to choose colors and environmental performance features. Standard Features: Backrest: 14 1/2" wide x 9 1/2" high, lumbar support, plastic protective panel. Seat: Concave, 18 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 3" thick with internal seatboard bumperguard. Controls: Task Control standard. Soft Touch pneumatic seat-height adjustment, fixed rearward seat tilt of 3_°, backrest tilt, backrest-height adjustment. Metal Parts: BTC Series chairs have a standard powder-coated finish or a chrome-plated finish when specified with a C option code (aluminum base has a polished top with the C option). Base: Rugged 5-legged cast aluminum base 23" leg spread. Casters and Glides: Standard casters are a single-wheel ball bearing caster for hard floors. Standard glides are nickel plated. Fire Retardant: Meets California Technical Bulletin 117; treatment to meet CAL 133 is optionally available. Upholstery: vinyls and fabrics are available to meet your needs. Optional Seat Controls: ASC - The articulating seat control features pneumatic seat-height adjustment and backrest-height adjustment. Seat and backrest tilt independently and lock into place with one lever. EXE - The executive tilt control features pneumatic seat-height adjustment, backrest-height adjustment, backrest-tilt adjustment and the seat and backrest swivel/tilt in unison. Tilt-tension control knob and single lever seat tilt lock in any position. FFAC - The free float articulating control features pneumatic seat-height adjustment and backrest-height adjustment. Seat and backrest tilt independently with separate levers and can free-float or lock into place.
