Longer periods of stool usage can fatigue the back and legs. The RT series stools, featuring a durable molded foam seat and lumbar-supporting backrest, comfortably solve this problem. Each stool within this series features a different base to meet varied environmental and budget demands. Round upholstered seats and trapezoid lumbar support backrests are standard. Select options like seat adjustment controls, backrests, armrests, casters and glides. Standard Features: Backrest: 14 1/2" wide x 9 1/2" high, lumbar support, plastic protective panel. Seat: Round, 15" diameter, upholstered, with 2 1/2" of high-resilience molded foam cushioning. Controls: Task Control standard. Soft Touch pneumatic seat-height adjustment, fixed rearward seat tilt of 3 1/2°, backrest tilt, backrest-height adjustment. Metal Parts: RTC Series stools have a standard powder-coated finish or a chrome-plated finish when specified with a C option code (aluminum base has a polished top with the C option). Base: Rugged 5-legged cast aluminum base with 23" leg spread. Casters and Glides: Standard casters are a single-wheel ball bearing caster for hard floors. Standard glides are nickel plated. Fire Retardant: Meets California Technical Bulletin 117; treatment to meet CAL 133 is optionally available. Upholstery: vinyls and fabrics are available to meet your needs.
