These round upholstered stools are engineered for durability and long life. The seat uses molded foam, which doesn't break down like filled foams, and includes a bumper edge around the perimeter of the seat board to keep the upholstery and vinyl from splitting and wearing. Each stool within this series features a different base to meet varied environmental and budget demands. Standard Features: Seat: round, 15" diameter, upholstered, with 2 1/2" of high-resilience molded foam cushioning. Controls: Pneumatic seat-height adjustment. Metal Parts: RXC Series chairs have a powder-coated finish as standard or a chrome-plated finish when specified with a C option code (base remains black plastic with the C option). Base: Rugged 5-legged black reinforced composite base with 27" leg spread; not for ESD use. Casters and Glides: Standard casters are a single-wheel ball bearing caster for hard floors. Standard glides are nickel plated. Fire Retardant: Meets California Technical Bulletin 117; treatment to meet CAL 133 is optionally available. Upholstery: A wide range of upholstery vinyls and fabrics are available to meet your needs.
