It's the Sit-Stand Stool...an ergonomically designed support device that allows the user to work in an upright, standing position while most of his or her weight rests on the padded seat, taking the load off the worker's legs and feet. It's the ideal way to improve conditions for assembly line workers, checkout clerks and other workers who can't sit down on the job. Technical/Ergonomic Features Base design allows positioning up close to work station or production lines Extremely stable, but not at all bulky. Four strong nylon anti-slip glides provide stability on most flooring. Ergonomically formed, padded polyurethane seat swivels 16° in either direction, returns to center automatically. Seat tilts forward up to 15°, swivel 16°. Seat height adjustable from 23.5" to 33.5" for workers of almost any size. Matte black tubular steel base.
